Position: Controller with Business Intelligence Location: Remote across Germany Salary between €65,000 - €80,000 Overview We are seeking a results-oriented and detail-driven Controller with a strong focus on Business Intelligence (BI), particularly expertise in Power BI. This hybrid role combines financial management with advanced data analytics to deliver insightful reporting, optimize performance, and support strategic business decision-making. The ideal candidate is adept at blending financial leadership with technical BI skills to drive measurable impact across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of financial management, including general accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and regulatory compliance. Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders, ensuring adherence to internal and external reporting standards. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide comprehensive insights into financial and operational performance. Aggregate and integrate data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security. Act as the subject matter expert for BI tools, providing training and support to team members and other stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in financial management, with proven expertise in BI tools like Power BI. Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, and dashboard design. Strong experience with financial systems, ERP tools, and data integration techniques. Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
