Hlx is currently partnered with an innovative biotech based in the US, in support of finding a Key Account Manager to play a vital role in driving market expansion in Germany, building lasting relationships with key accounts. Leveraging a strong network within the ophthalmology field, this individual will be essential in forging and sustaining strategic partnerships. The role focuses on promoting product adoption and revenue growth while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and market success.


Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the ophthalmology sector, including hospitals, clinics, and opinion leaders.
  • Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, addressing concerns and providing prompt support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement account-specific strategies that drive product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within key accounts, delivering customized solutions to meet their needs.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and enhance performance.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and training sessions to key accounts, highlighting product features, benefits, and best practices.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to network with stakeholders and stay updated on industry advancements.
  • Maintain strict adherence to regulatory and ethical standards in all key account interactions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in key account management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Strong understanding of the ophthalmology market, including key players, market dynamics, and trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet with key accounts and attend industry events.
