Mackenzie Stuart is partnered with a leading quantum technology company seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer. In this role, you will collaborate with top scientists and experts in quantum technology to design and build devices for our full-stack quantum computers for a variety of customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Module Leadership: Take charge of key electronic modules in the client's quantum computer.
- System Integration: Integrate and optimize your modules with the overall system.
- Project Rotation: Transition to new projects after successful integration of your module.
- Collaboration: Work closely with quantum, mechanical, and software engineering teams throughout the development process.
- Ongoing Learning: Keep abreast of the latest physics advancements to continuously improve system performance.
Qualifications:
- BSc or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of practical experience delivering hardware.
- Design experience in at least three of the following areas:
- Analog Electronics: Low Noise/Low Distortion Amplifier Designs, Feedback Control, Loop Filters, Mixers, RF Amplifiers, Voltage References, High Precision Designs
- Digital Electronics: Precision/High Speed ADC/DAC, Low Phase Noise Clock Designs, Digital Feedback Loops (Microcontroller/FPGA), Low Noise Mixed Signal Design, Digital Isolation
- Power Electronics: High Current Switching, H-Bridges with MOSFET/SiC/IGBT, Switch Mode Supplies, Linear Supplies.
- Ability to specify systems independently and engage with stakeholders.
- Record of mentoring junior engineers.

- Must be based in, or willing to relocate to, Munich, Germany.
