Head of Analysis (f/d/m)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of 10+ skilled analysts and meteorologists.
• Provide comprehensive analytical support to internal departments (e.g., Front Office Desks, Risk Management.
• Drive the development of Green Energy trading by leveraging existing capabilities, including quantitative analysis, weather forecasting, and long-term energy pricing scenarios.
• Take charge of quantitative models and their ongoing improvements, covering Forward Curves, PPAs, Swings, Storage, and more.
• Play a critical role in shaping trading strategies, risk management approaches, and algorithmic trading initiatives.
• Define priorities and explore new applications for analysis within the organization.
• Enhance and expand the technical model platform in collaboration with the DevOps team.
• Manage market data, ensuring its quality and accessibility while negotiating with vendors.

Your Qualifications:

• A Master’s or PhD in a relevant field.
• At least 7 years of experience in energy trading.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing projects.
• A collaborative, hands-on leadership style.
• The ability to thrive in a growing, evolving organization.
• Expertise in Renewables, Power, and Gas markets and trading.
• Proficiency in quantitative analysis, fundamental modeling, structuring, model testing, and digital transformation is an asset.
• Experience with programming and IT project management is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.
