Sales Manager Europe (Germany or Austria)


Blackfield Associates are partnered with a high growth pharmaceutical technology company, at the forefront of safe bioprocessing. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven European Sales Manager to lead commercial efforts across Europe from Germany or Austria.

In this role, you will be responsible for achieving revenue goals, driving business growth, and expanding market presence. You should bring a hands-on approach, strong initiative, knowledge of pharma biotech and a clear drive for success.


Key Responsibilities as Sales Manager:

  • Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to achieve or exceed revenue targets within your assigned region
  • Apply technical and commercial acumen to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions using our portfolio
  • Act as the primary point of contact for your customers, managing relationships and coordinating internal stakeholders to ensure aligned communication and delivery
  • Leverage CRM and marketing tools to plan, monitor, and document all commercial activities


To be considered for the role of Sales Manager Europe, you will need the following:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Key Account Manager or Sales Manager in the life sciences sector
  • Proven success working with biopharma clients and consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets
  • Experience navigating complex organizations and identifying key stakeholders with varying priorities
  • Strong understanding of value-based selling and sales cycles (e.g., capital expenditure vs. consumables)
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%
  • Familiarity with the local market and an existing customer network is advantageous
  • Must be fluent in German and English – this is essential
  • Additional language skills beyond German and English are a plus
