g2 are assisting a client who are searching for a HSE Lead to coordinate several high value CAPEX power generation projects across Germany. My client are working on behalf of the German government as the main EPC contractor to design and build several hydrogen projects beginning in Q3 2025. This project is due to last for 2-3 years and the ideal candidate will help my client prepare sites, design policy and remain with the project until the end.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for implementing the company's health and safety standards on site, organising and cooperating with other contractors who work on the project and will be a strong-willed character who is passionate about safety.

Start: Mid June 2025 (or sooner).

Location: North-Rhein Westphalia (Head Office).

Contract Length: 24x Months.

Site Expectation: 2-3 days per week (10 Hours per day) / 2 days from home.

Rate: Negotiable.

Required Experience:

• 10+ years HSE / Site Management experience.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, SiGeKo, SIFA or other relevant HSE qualification.
• Experience leading and managing HSE teams.
• Knowledge of German safety legislation.
• English communication skills (B1 minimum).
• German communication skills (Preferred).
• Experience working on power generation projects or large scale construction.
