Due to increasing demand for our consultancy services, we are seeking a Principal Consultant with skills in database development, management, process & data mapping, and data analysis to join our Turner & Townsend Technology consulting team. The role involves supporting diverse projects of various sizes, requiring a strong track record in data and analytics projects.

It is essential to sell solutions to clients, understand and capture client requirements, and facilitate workshops. This hybrid role is based in Munich, Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead project teams of analysts & consultants on various tasks, including:
2. Develop project plans and oversee end-to-end delivery with Commission Directors
3. Lead client engagements to gather data, analysis, and modeling requirements
4. Identify and analyze different business and model scenarios
5. Create end-to-end data processes and models
6. Design data solutions collaboratively with clients and their IT teams
7. Build dashboards and visualizations using various tools
8. Support clients in using model outputs for decision-making
9. Test solutions and models against requirements
10. Conduct quality assurance of implemented solutions
11. Prepare project communication materials, including progress reports
12. Develop presentation and business development materials for client pitches

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with the ability to present data in various formats. Programming skills in DAX, Python, VBA, and SQL are desirable.
• Fluent German language skills
• Degree in an analytic subject (e.g., Maths, Geography, Engineering, Economics) or Construction (Civil Engineering) is preferred
• Experience in data warehousing and data modeling
• Proficiency in data visualization software such as Power BI and Tableau
• Understanding of business intelligence and reporting architecture
• Knowledge of dimensions, measures, metadata, and schemas
